Frantoio olives are primarily grown in Tuscany or in mild climates like regional Victoria or southern NSW, where it isn’t too hot or cold.
They are popularly grown for olive oil, but are also delicious as a table olive. Frantoio olives are one of the fruitiest olive varieties and have a punchier flavour than some milder varieties. This makes them perfect to cook with or for true olive lovers!
They work well with any recipes or serving suggestions, including;
- Pasta
- Cheese Platters or Charcuterie Boards
- Scattered over BBQ or grilled meat
