Heat Level: Mild/Medium - a rich and aromatic meal with a hit of chilli
- Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or coconut oil in a medium sized saucepan. Add dahl mix, stirring, until fragrant, approx. 2 minutes.
- Add 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes and 750ml (3 cups) boiling water and stir to combine and bring to a bubbling boil.
- Recommended – add 2 cups of mixed chopped vegetables.
- Turn heat to low and cook dahl, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes. Stir through 1/4 cup of cream. Serve warm.
